Tamada  2009  oil on linen  76x52 in.  (193x132.1 cm)
Tamada in Georgian culture is usually a man, who sits at the head of the table, proposes toasts and orchestrates the dinner party. He is chosen, for his articulate story telling and the ability to hold vast amounts of alcohol. Tamada chooses the guests who will continue toasting and also announces the end of the party.

Dedicated to the friends who work in war zones.
